AM observations: No crust observed up to the stone hut. Wind transport started at tree line, with sastrugi starting just below the stone hut. Inversion was sitting right at the low side of the burn.

At the head of Polallie canyon, on north and northeast facing slopes. Failure apparently on the aforementioned wind layer a few inches below the surface. D1-D1.5
