Quick report
More snow on the ground than we expected this morning. Greeted Andy at the parking lot. On the track up, loved the dry, light snow. Triggered a few small sluffs near the skin track at lower elevations, but as the elevation rose and the temps warmed, started to see slightly slabbier activity. Saw a large roller ball at the Summer Trail, then more smaller ones along the way. Notable temp difference from when we started from our turnaround. Snow slowly became sticker and more grabby, which was more apparent on our descent. More skier-triggered sluffs on the way out, then found a recent wet loose slide.
Avalanche
Skating the Alpental out track, closer to Lot 4 than not, came upon a natural loose wet slide, covering the tracks of the group ahead of us. No captures. It was a fairly short slide, ending about at the track. NNE aspect right around 3400'. Driving home I saw multiple similar loose slides from the highway.
