Quick report
Toured up and over skyline dropping down skyline bowl and then ascending up to tye peak. Came back down the east face of tye. Sky remained cloud covered, though could feel some solar radiation peaking through at times. About 2-5 inches of new snow on top of the new supportable crust. Winds 0-5 mph on the ridge and completely calm in the basin. Did not appreciate any significant snow transportation while out there. Found less wind affected snow than expected overall. No wind slabs to be reported. Snow on the south faces felt dense and wet, though north facing aspects seemed to fair and ski better. Did notice that sluffs could pick up momentum on the new crust when the slope angle went over 35 degrees on a south facing test slope, so steered clear.
