Traveled in the Western Wallowas today between 3,500'-7,600'. We experienced moderate winds from the S-SW, with strong gusts. North-facing slopes were being wind-loaded, and we experienced isolated cracking. I performed a ski cut and didn't have any results. Other than that we found good skiing in more sheltered terrain near and below the treeline.
