Rode with a small group on snowmobiles from Clear Cr. snow park past Schneider Meadows and up to 7000’. Obvious signs of significant warmup the past few days - rain runnals in the snow, consolidated snowpack - with 7” of new on top of rain affected snow. 24 degrees, no wind since overnight snow - snow height 180cm at observation site. Snow pack had less moisture over 7000’ - deeper soft snow with about 18” of boot penetration over 7000’. Boot penetration of about 7” between 5400’ to 6500’.
