Quick report
We started at 5,500' at the Buck Creek Trailhead and climbed to 7,400' on the SW slopes of Burger Butte. Travel remains challenging below 6,000-6,500' due to limited coverage. Above 6,500' coverage improved, and we were measuring 2-3' or more of snow. The most recent snow above the 12/26 was light density and high quality.

Beautiful day in the mountains, with sunshine, no wind, and cool temperatures.
Snowpack
At 7,300' on a North Aspect, we found 100cm or just over 3' of snow. The most recent storm deposited around just over 20cm or 8-10 inches at this location. We completed two compression tests and had failures below the 12/26 crust on a layer of preserved stellars and needles. CT13SC down 32cm. This same layer propagated on the Extended Column Test on the 16th hit.
With these test results, we elected to ski on a solar aspect with a slope angle of less than 30 degrees.
