Quick report

Went for a midday conditions assessment. Started at 10:00, returned to the car by 13:00. Periods of heavy rainfall with occasional breaks. Liquid precip all the way to our turn around at 4k. Snow level at least 4500-5k. Rain runnels and other signs of a wet snowpack obvious. Unable to produce point releases on steep test slopes. Turned around due to increasing tree bomb hazard with elevation gain and poor ski conditions (40cm+ ski pen). Great to see the low and mid elevation snowpack effectively doubled after the recent week of storms.

Avalanche

Size 1 point release debris off steep rocky features.
