snowboarding down windy ridge (aggressively), i experienced cracking that extended approx 30 ft in front of me (not sure how far behind me). the slab slid significantly down the hill and into the trees above "bathtub" but there wasn't a lot of snow so it was a fairly shallow slab. I was able to stay out of the slide (above it).
