Plenty of evidence of the storm slab problem. Did not travel above treeline, and so there was limited evidence of the wind slab problem. Instabilities were noted within the recent storm snow through several shovel tilt tests. Cracking was also observed in any wind effected snow.

Intense snowfall rates interspersed with brief periods of lighter snowfall. Windier as we ascended towards about 6000`. The day cooled off as forecasted.
Snowpack
Yesterday's damp snow surface cooled off and this latest storm snow bonded well to the old snow surface. Intense snowfall rates today created instabilities within the recent snow. Test slopes and other informal assessments showed evidence of the storm slab problem.

One of our groups observed evidence of a small natural storm slab avalanche in the steep trees above Mitchell Creek. Likely ran on an instability within the latest storm snow, which was very obvious in shovel tilt tests today.
