Tl; Dr: Ended up deciding to go on foot instead of skis and was glad I did. Snow coverage on the lower mountain is essentially non-existent with skinable snow coverage starting about 4 miles in at the wx station at 5800 ft. Upper mountain snow coverage is highly textured with lots of boot prints and small sun cups. Several large glide cracks present on the upper mountain above approx. 6500ft. Crater rim cornice is still hanging on in lots of.places, but starting to crack as well. Overall very firm conditions this morning after a solid refreeze. No snow stability concerns, and no signs of recent avalanches
