Burstall Pass

Skin track on main trail is in good shape. Snow was around 75cm deep on Eastern aspect at 2300m and was very light fluffy powder which made for great skiing, although there are a few sharks still. Snowpack was fairly uniform and stable overall, just needs a bit more depth. Other aspects looked much more wind affected and shallower but we didn't go over and investigate. A few medium cornices on top of the ridge. Fun day and surprisingly good skiing, although terrain options are still limited.
