One of the better days I've ever had at Paul Ridge. There was 10-15 cm of new snow on the road at the hairpin, chains required, snow plowing was absent today. Not too many people out. 150cm HS @ 1600, day was broken sky partly sunny, followed by obscured sky and snowing S-1 by 4pm. Deep powder, some isolated soft slab on steep convexity sz 0.5 by aggressive ski cut. Deep powder and lots of faceshots to be had! The road is fully skiiable to the parking lot now, with zero rocks sticking out. Temps -3 @1600m all day, and +1 at the lower parking lot at 9am and 4pm. Boot pen 80+cm, Ski pen 30.
Deep unconsolidated snow.
