Just finished guiding a Bow-Yoho ski traverse. We crossed from Bow-Guy on Sat April 1st in full white out conditions with approx 25cm HST. On Sunday we traveled through Isolated Col there had been recent and old avalanche activity in the main path, we then climbed and skied Mt MacArthur with boot top cold powder on the glacier. On Monday we climbed the Vice Pres. wind pressed powder and a deep well settled snowpack made for fast and safe travel up the north glacier, about 10-15cm ski pen fast fun skiing. We also skied up to mt Kerr with very good quality. Traveled out the Ice line on Tues with very good conditions and temps staying cool, did not observe any avalanche activity.
