We climbed the southeast aspect of Mount Ogden today, hoping to take a look at White Rabbit. after some failed attempts to safely cut a cornice, we decided to ski White Knight instead. the skin up was relatively pleasant, no bootpacking until past white knight. the snow conditions varied greatly, the east trees seemed like solid low density snow, rounding the corner west slowly shifted from nice stuff to breakable wind crust first, and then bulletproof in some exposed areas, which we expected. once above treeline, travel was either on ultra-solid windcrust, or walking on rocks. we didn't find much unstable snow, predominantly felt like 25-30cm reasonable snow on supportive base, deeper in some areas. travel was easy and our skin track was reasonable.
