Went up Alpen mountain. starting even at 3:30am, snow was wet right from the get-go, and only got worse after about 10am or so when the clouds thinned out a bit and precipitation ceased. snow was terrible for skiing, wet, sticky, and like glue. produced a 1.5, saw debris from natural avalanches as well

Snow conditions were: Wet. Weather conditions were: Cloudy, Cold, Foggy, Stormy, Wet. We rode: Alpine slopes, Dense trees, Mellow slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Convex slopes, Steep slopes, Sunny slopes. Riding quality was terrible.

Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
