Better then expected

10-15cm of nice powder above a supportive melt freeze crust skiing was better the higher we got, we skied from 1450-1100m. Winds at the top of the ridge were blowing moderately and starting to form winds slabs. No signs of instability were observed during our day.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Powder. Weather conditions were: Cloudy, Stormy, Windy. We rode: Open trees. Riding quality was good.


At the top of the ridge at 1450m wind was starting to blow around and forming wind slabs on N-E aspects
