Wolverine Ridge

Multiple avalanches observed on SW Aspect of Redoubt Mountain from Wolverine Ridge. Some Whumpfing and cracking at elevation band of ~2340-2370 on NE aspect of Wolverine ridge while skiining. Here the recent snow from the past week was sitting on facets making for very difficult travel. Below 2340 m the midpack was supportive and ski conditions were good.

Multiple avalanches observed on SW Aspect of Redoubt Mountain. Varying sizes and start zone elevation. Difficult to see some crowns due to low visibility. Appear to have occurred within last 24 hours as debris had several cm of new snow on top. A few appeared to have started near the top of ridge and ran full path while others had crowns 100 m from valley floor.
