Quick report
Shallow wet loose activity has spread to northerly aspects over the last few days. The only terrain still holding dry snow is on due-north aspects above treeline, and this will be the weakest snow surface heading into next week's snowy weather. We found good stability this morning. Following a so-so refreeze, wet loose concerns were developing by late morning at lower elevations under strong solar.
Frozen crusts this morning offered good stability. By about 10:45, we started ski cutting rollerballs near the bottom of our descent on E to NE aspects BTL.Weather

Gusty winds ATL were transporting small amounts of snow. At 11k, temperatures dropped to 32F last night, and rose to 43F. Clouds increased later in the day.
