Quick report

With the new snow there was very little natural avalanche activity, I attribute this to our main problem layer being buried deep, it will probably need a human to trigger it. Keep a close eye on the wind for this weekend creating a wind slab problem. Look for what direction it comes in at and how strong.

Clear day with calm winds. Evidence of south winds during this last storm.

Snowpack

New snow varying from 6-8" up to several feet in spots. This storm snow should have time to bond before the weekend, but there is now significant snow available for transport. Some south winds at the start of the storm, but calm since then.

Avalanche

Several small storm slabs seen past Look Eyrie on ridge lines, at least one West of the highway, and one wind pocket in N Cantwell Basin.
