Tons of whumpfs and cracks Roughly 50-80 cm HS SKC light winds, temps mid 20s 2 pits, 1 at 4400' with ECTN6 2nd at 5400' with ECTP1, PST 35/100 end. Dug on a 20-30 cm thick wind slab on a NE face Traveled up the gunsight eastern ridge from parking lot, kept it simple and stopped about 1000' from the top based on widespread instability Snowpack seemed reactive, it varied from new snow on top of facets to hard windslabs on top of facets.
