Toured up Eddies and set a new skin track to the south of the standard uptrack - widespread whumfing as we broke trail. Dug a pit at treeline, poor structure as anticipated. Excellent surface conditions over our problem layers. The top 70cm was the most reactive, ECT P 0. We also noted a second major facet layer still persistent a meter down ECT R 22. The early season facets lower down in the slow pack were present but unreactive.
