Red Flags Comment

The snow surface got quite warm today on a multitude of aspects. Low level, moist cloud bank came in mid morning and seemed to facilitate green housing a bit. Some riming was also observed.

Roller balls observed on North 1/2 up to 9800'

The snowpack is in the 110-150cm range in the mid elevations of the western Millcreek/Big Cottonwood Divide.

Snowpack

Instability Comment

lots of snow had been moved around and hard slabs are all over starting zones. Nothing was hair trigger but we also didnt push our luck on anything over 35 degrees

PWL seems to be gaining strength, even in moderately shallow snowpack areas. Unreactive in tests.
