Quick report
In addition to the slope ripping around the skier, there was a Large sympathetic cornice failure above the skier, and they said the slope ripped around them after their second turn and it ripped uphill above them taking large cornice chunks, some of which were compact car sized. The bed surface was a very thin layer of near surface facets 1/2 mm on top of a 1 finger hardness, wind packed layer. 16-24" Crown depth on average, with some of the cornice chunks were over head high.

First day of warming and solar input after a multi day storm cycle, other natural avalanches were observed off the backside of the summit of Fred's and some debris was observed below Hollywood rocks.
