Skinned up low elevation in mineral fork today. Skinning up a ridge that wrapped from SE-NE facing we noticed cracking and collapsing on SE facing, but not on NE around 7800ft. Two quick pits showed a crust ~30cms down on SE facing, and got results of ct13. No results or crust on E-NE. Compression test failed on the snow directly beneath the crust...very small grains but couldn't tell what flavor without a loup.
