Dropped a cornice on an obviously wind loaded slope on an exposed ridge line. The slab was fairly stiff and was pretty energetic. It easily pushed through the new snow and the lower angle slope directly below. It continued through a line of trees and down the next slope. The hang fire was reluctant to release under my weight but with the same energetic results when I did.
