- <p>cracking but stubborn soft slab. I believe there are places to trigger hard slab and the wind loading in the exposed areas is in places that usually are not affected by wind. </p>

Snowpack

- <p>Lots of wind slab out there on the ridges mostly from the East and NE winds, but I also found some slab on all exposed aspects. Cracking was common on upper exposed areas. </p>
Nice dry, cold, turnable snow in the sheltered areas but the exposed slopes took a major beating last night and today from the East and North East winds. The best turning is in the mid-low elevation protected trees.
