North facing aspect at 8800' tucked up against a ridge. Roughly 15 to 20 degree slope. Anytime 3 or more people stood in a gap in the trees we could feel the collapse. Average of 35cm of new snow fell overnight. Sun came out in the early afternoon and we had a lot of it sticking to the bottom of our skis. Temps were mild, probably low 30s.
