-travelled to a ridge line around 10200’ -overall shallow snow -overcast skies with a flurry or two -winds light BTL, around 20 mph NTL and 30+ west winds on a ridge line - around 9900’ on a east facing part of a bowl favorable for catching snow: HS 50 cm -above 10000’ some remnant snow from last season, supportable new snow and lots of bare ground -no obvious signs of instability on NE and N facing slopes I rode down, localized cracking in recent drifts
