Quick report

4 skiers each independently triggered D1-D2 wind slabs on a more NE aspect of the overall E aspect of Skyline on Saddle. They were isolated.

The peak was mostly foggy the entire time but the sun did break through occasionally. I would lean more towards overcast if the sun never peaked through. We didn’t experience strong winds before the ridge, but they were low to moderate on the summit. Not unbearably cold.

There were four of us in our group. We each followed spacing rules and didn’t start skiing until the next person was well into the trees. Also had radios. We each triggered a wind slab, which were isolated and didn’t carry any of us. We were able to ski out of them as it continued more towards the cliffs and we were heading towards the trees.
