After making it to this spot, snow drifts were suddenly very deep. After deciding to turn around I triggered a crack when I stepped down with a ski that spread about 10-15 feet. A wind slab about 12-18” thick broke free and slid down about 10 feet onto the lower portion of the cog trail. I did not hang out to capture photo evidence.
