- <p>we did not see any natural activity on sun exposed nor shady northern aspect, at least not before noon when we were exiting the are. we covered quite a bit of ground from Miller Flat up into Potters Pond, with no activity noted today. </p>

- <p>even snow machines were punching through unpacked areas by 11:00, time to beat feet. we avoided getting under anything steep, did ski early in the morning on south facing steep slopes, but were off them and out of the way before mid day. </p> <p>Again, we did not see any new wet activity since the big warm up but not willing to wait underneath steep slopes while day heated up</p>
crust 3"-4" thick but high variable in strength. in flatter terrain and near trees it was punchy from the get go. Higher more exposed and more southernly facing was stout to begin with, but was giving up by 10 AM.
