Quick report
Without a refreeze in the last 5 days at Noisy and only slightly below freezing at Aeneas this morning slopes are melting out quickly. Glide cracks are rapidly increasing in number, are expanding, and are merging. Give all this, it's surprising that only 1 new glide avalanche was observed today. This particular crack has been precariously perched above a rock band for at least a month. Only recently did it fail. This extended warm period is causing many new glide cracks to form and the existing cracks are expanding and merging. Many mid elevation slopes on solar aspects are melting out rapidly (Red Owl Burn, Crater Mountain, Switchback Burn, and approach to Checkerboard.)

The fronts that came through on Sat and Sun did not produce more than a trace in the valley and were isolated and often virga showers.
