Black Canyon/Fish Creek

We didn't get above 8000 feet, and stayed in the low elevation band. There was about 1 foot of snow that was warm and dense. There was an old faceted layer present, but it is now just a slightly softer layer in the snowpack. At the moment, this warm, dense snow will make a great base for future snow. It's very supportable or off-trail travel wouldn't be possible.
