Quick report
Went up Mt. Brown, 15 down trees up to the turn off. Maybe 20 more on the switch backs, some positioned vertically on the trail to optimize the defense, dirt walking for first 2k. Snowline gets solid above 5k. Around 6500 new snow that gets thicker but no more than 4 inches. Lots of wind scouring above the lookout that gets down to the rain crust, slick travel. Stomped on cornices that were sensitive over east aspect. 1 tap. Big chunks rolled down but slope didn’t trigger the slope. Skied good from 8k down to 6k, the rest was not good. Plenty of old wet slide debris in the bowl and lower in Snyder basin.
