Quick report

I toured up Bacon Rind 2/22/26 and reached the top around 11:00 a.m. Skies were clear with a light south wind at that time. Estimated ambient temp. was 20-25 degrees. I dug a pit at 8,900 ft. on an E-facing aspect. HS 150 cm, though I only dug down 90 cm. ECTP12 at 30 cm down. After removing the slab, I gave the remaining block a hit from the elbow and got a second propagation 20 cm below the first. I spoke with another party at 3:00 p.m. They were digging a pit at a slightly lower (~100 ft.) elevation, but nearby and on a similar aspect. Their ECT yielded virtually identical results to the one I had done earlier. S/SW winds picked up throughout the day with active snow transport along the ridge in the afternoon.
