We went up Silver Fork to Silver Spoon this morning. Snow was falling heavily from about 7-11 am. Estimated about 6-8" fell during that time. Our tracks were quite filled in on our exit. We saw some minor wind effect on the Silver Fork ridgline as well. Riding conditions were excellent, but we grew concerned about how heavy the snowfall was and decided to bail on a second lap.

- <p>We noticed some small releases of the new snow - one under a tree and the other on a steep bank next to the skin track. Cracking was also visible in some areas as we skied down. </p>
