Quick report

At 7,000ft on a NE aspect I performed an extended column test and got an ECTP#12 (a sign of poor stability). No recent avalanches observed.

Snowpack

Overall, the snowpack is very thin! The snow by the lake was 2-6" of wet and slushy. There are a lot of exposed rocks and logs making travel hazardous and cumbersome.  I suspect Sunday's rain did reach the top of Paulina Peak due to rain runnels observed towards the top of the mountain.

Around 7,000ft I found up to 20" of heavy snow sitting on top of weaker snow (facets) on a northeast aspect.
