Quick report

Below tree level, there was a very firm crust under the new snow. Above, it was softer and delightful. We observed some sluff as folks skied the bowl, but no other signs of instability. In the trees, things were funkier. We started skinning after noon, and there was noticeable sun crust happening on south-facing non-shaded slopes, but cold dry snow on any other surface. No wind effect seen at all; just a light breeze.

Fresh-looking tracks across a steep area, with several small releases. We noticed from the uptrack; based on the skiing, it looks like the fresh snow from earlier this week slid on the crust immediately underneath it.
