Quick report
Several slab avalanches 6-12" deep were triggered in Triangle Bowl and one of a similar size in Main Bowl. All were on westerly facing slopes (wind loaded slopes) between 2800 and 3300'. All of these were remotely triggered with no riders caught. The weak layer was the weak faceted snow and/or bureid surface hoar that formed during the February cold dry spell. Small amounts of new snow have been piling up on this layer over the past week, which equates to between 6-12" depending on wind loading and areas closer to the Arm have seen more snow thant he southern end of Turnagain Pass.
