Kapka

Went out to Kapka to fart around on the pow surfers in somewhat mellow treed terrain. Got to see the nuking winds preceeding the next storm up close and personal. Those winds were definitely moving some snow… and trees! Snow on the butte seemed pretty solid, it’s somewhat protected by the trees. Snow was definitely more settled than yesterday. Relatively compacted pow on both SW and NE aspects there. Nothing notable stability-wise other than the nuking winds, which must be doing a number up high.
