Tabernac Bowl

Objective- Tabernac Bowl via Oh Le Tabernac. Left car at 0745 hrs Temperature at car: -14 C Sun observed on top out of Oh Le Tabernac at approx 0930 hrs. Temperature drastically changed from cool wind chill to very warm. -10c to 0 degrees in the upper bowl. No instabilities noted on approach. Snow remained unaffected by sun until approximately 1145 hrs below the upper climbs Les Miserables and N'Ice Baby. At 1220hrs while looking up at Les Miserables a size 1.5 came from the top of N'Ice Baby. Covering my partner and I in the powder cloud but no burials at the base of Les Miserables. My partner and I quickly left Tabernac bowl, snow softened significantly on decent, balling on crampons. This was a change from the approach. Most snowpack in the bowl was faceted and below threshold on approach, and felt loose and dry. We approached and escaped via the climbers trail on the east side of bowl along rock face.
