Log Cabin Mt
Skied 2 different east facing lines on Log Cabin. One quite far skiers right of the cutline, the other even further south closer to Customs. 25-30 cm of fresh powder below treeline. Soft slab with good skiing for a few hundred feet above treeline. Increasingly stiff slab and poor skiing above. If the visibility improves and you find a protected spot (e.g. north bowl of Feather) the skiing could be phenomenal. At the end of day noticed the soft slab was starting to be cohesive on steep rolls. No signs of avalanches but vis was poor most of the day.
Weather Report
Moderate winds above treeline. Wind got increasingly stronger as you gained elevation.
