Deep Day at Shames

Fantastic day skiing around the Dome. In the morning snow was very light and fluffy. Multiple hand pits in the morning showed minimal slab properties. By the afternoon, strong winds, solar input, and new wet snow led to building slabs that resulted in cracking at tips while skinning. Ski pen throughout the day was anywhere from 15-50cm
