Snowpack
The snowpack here looked similar to what I found on Wednesday when I was on Berthoud Pass. Snow height is between 30 and 45cm. Everywhere I traveled today, there was a slab over basal facets. The slab continues to lose strength in wind-protected areas. Near and above treeline, winds have tempered slab breakdown, and stiffer slabs can be found. Where I dug in Sister 6, I had an ECTP13 at the slab/basal facet interface. However, winds have moved a considerable amount of snow around in the alpine, and coverage in the Sisters' start zones, with the exception of Sisters 3 and 4, is patchy and discontinuous. Coverage is a bit more continuous in the tracks of the Sisters, but there's still some roughness to the terrain that is visible.
