Verendrye Burn

Skied fantastic powder in the burn by Verendrye, there’s plenty of tracks to be had if you’re looking in the right places. We transitioned just at treeline, (~2050m) and skied both East and NW aspects. Noticed no evidence of wind transport, even on open slopes at treeline, however, there is a layer of surface hoar forming at all aspects and elevations we skied at. Hopefully some wind will knock it down before the next storm cycle.
