Avalanche Information
Today was a great day to stomp on things. We heard it was sensitive so traveled with care and observed many shooting cracks and settlement cracks. Slopes under ~40 deg tended to settle, slopes unsupported or over 40 slid. We noticed 2 to 3 cm of very light snow above the crust with 20cm from last night on top. Did not see surface hoar crystals but was told there was a light dusting yesterday. Maybe surface hoar below the dust?. As the slab was loose and predictable, we skied some spots just to make it go. When available, avy debris provided quite nice riding.
