I got today to find 10 inches of new medium density snow with some post fontal smoke on top. On the north side of the compass, in wind sheltered terrain, I found a picture-perfect snowpack with no identifiable weak layers. The snow on the ridges where sage is present is riding hollow and unsupportive. Wind slabs were minimal.
