Did a big loop Sunday out of Soapstone. Lots of wind effect on the east side of Bald Mountain Pass on the north face of Murdock which was still intact, just some soft cornice debris on the crossloaded gullies. Southwest face of Agassiz was scoured. Dreamy view of west face of Hayden.
HS 175cm @ 10500' just east of Bald Mountain Pass HS 160cm @ 10200' near Ruth Lake
I thought I'd see more big crowns after this cycle and was not disappointed because on the way out our view of Haystack's east face had large slab carved out that appeared to pop off from a cornice drop.
