The top of the slope had been stripped by the recent NW winds and had lots of bushes showing. The SE winds from last night have started to fill it back in and windslabs exist along the top of most of the bowl. I skied over this intentionally, the windslab was harder than expected with zero ski penetration on top of the slab, it wasn't till I was further down and made a hard jump turn that it fractured.
