Crusty served with a side of rock sprinkles

Big change in weather from this morning where it was clam and sunny. It started lightly snowing this afternoon with strong easterlies. The snow was soft and sticky in the trees but fast on the Nordic trails and dry in the alpine with the winds keeping it cold. In the alpine there is a less supportive crust then last week and a new sprinkling of gravel that likely flew off the summit with the high winds this past week. The crust was a bit tricky to ski as it’s getting grabby. Looking forward to the change in weather pattern coming next week!
